We’re currently seeking an Account Manager to support the Ad Sales Team in meeting their objectives and provide a high level of customer service to clients.

The right candidate will work hand and hand with Account Executives to build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and agencies. The role will be responsible for managing campaigns through the full Sales cycle - from RFP response to post-IO execution.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with Sales and other internal teams to develop creative and strategic media plans and RFP responses that meet advertiser KPIs including pricing, targeting and inventory needs  
  • Enter and manage all proposed media plan entries into relevant 1st and 3rd party systems while focusing on strong media solutions for the client and profitability for Tastemade
  • Client point of contact for all post-sale campaign management including, but not limited to, client handling, asset and tag delivery, internal resource scheduling, setting KPI benchmarks, recommending optimizations, monitoring performance, billing and delivery questions and overall responsibility for timely launch of all client deliverables
  • Develop understanding of internal sales process, as well as competitors and marketplace conditions
  • Utilize inventory guides to ensure accurate usage of available media inventory and proper booking of fixed placements
  • Assist Sales team with research discovery and data pulls, used to strengthen campaign recommendations

What you'll bring:

What you’ll be doing: 

Looking for a strong producer both in production and post production.  The shows you produce will focus on food, travel, home,and lifestyle.  You will be reporting to our in-house Executive Producer, producing longform television series.  You will be involved in the entire process, from prep, writing scripts, researching ideas, topics, locations, overseeing all aspects of  production (field and studio), and taking the show all the way through post production.  You need strong research, casting, writing, and story producing skills.  We are a passionate group of people who look for like minded, collaborative, positive, goal oriented team members. 

What you’ll do:

  • Ideate, write treatments, help LP budget and coordinate shoots
  • Work closely with Executive Producers to create original, high quality content
  • Manage multiple productions in a hands-on fashion during all stages of development, from ideation through post-production
  • Support the Production team to ensure all logistics, budgets and deadlines are met through post production
  • Manage scheduling, coordination, workflow and deadlines for multiple projects and shoots simultaneously
  • Apply technical, editorial and creative storytelling expertise during all stages of production

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years experience
  • At least 4 years in a similar role 
  • Keen interest in all things food, home, lifestyle and travel
  • A collaborative personality
  • Experienced producer in studio and in the field
  • Story producer experience on the set and in post production
  • Experience writing and developing recipes preferred
  • A dedication to quality, taste and precision
  • Experience working in a high volume, fast paced environment

Global Tax, Risk and Compliance Manager

We are seeking to hire a Global Tax, Risk and Compliance Manager to join our growing team.  The right person for this role will be a strong compliance-minded professional who doesn’t need to be an expert on every subject matter of compliance but has the experience and comfort in owning it, managing it, finding the answers, and executing the solutions.

What you'll be doing:

International tax

  • Quickly grasp local tax concepts relating to entities located in Brazil, Argentina and UK
  • Manage the Company’s transfer pricing matters and partner with multiple stakeholders to provide support on transfer pricing related issues
  • Complete vendor onboarding forms required which relate to international WHT. 
  • Prepare and file quarterly UK VAT returns
  • Work with local accountants to manage any dealings with HMRC, including census reporting, schedule D reporting, P11D calculations and VAT, tax residency certificate applications. 
  • Review and approve international month end balance sheet reconciliations for indirect, direct and payroll tax balances in Argentina and Brazil and UK.

Compliance

  • Point person for company insurance working with insurance brokers, legal and relevant departments to prepare the annual renewals
  • Ownership over insurance premium audits such as production/ workers comp premium audits
  • Prepare annual local business license renewals
  • Prepare and complete state franchise tax calculations
  • Complete state registrations for new states for payroll and corporate tax purposes
  • Prepare monthly compliance packages to bankers
  • Prepare monthly investor reporting packages
  • Respond to BLS requests for information
  • Play a key role in the management of the company’s 401k plan including assistance with the 401k audit
  • Prepare and file the company’s 1099 filings

Indirect Tax

  • Subject matter expert for indirect taxes. 
  • Perform nexus assessments and exposure analysis for sales tax and assisting with technical set up of tools to facilitate calculation and returns in multiple of states over new and emerging business streams
  • Prepare and file US sales tax returns in a multiple of states
  • Perform taxability assessments of product types for both sales tax and VAT including the real world implementation of those rules (reviewing tech tools to facilitate the collection and remittance such as Avalara/ TaxJar/ Stripe Tax)
  • Knowledge of marketplace facilitator rules a plus

Corporate Tax

  • Preparation of the US tax provision for financial statement purposes audited by Big 4
  • Work with tax advisors for extensions, state based apportionment, and tax return filings
  • Ownership over compliance requirements (local business licenses, state registrations, compliance with bank covenant reporting, recurring investor reporting)
  • Preparation and management of a global compliance calendar

Payroll Tax

  • Research payroll tax-related issues
  • Subject matter expert on Global (and Domestic) Mobility

What you’ll bring:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in tax and compliance functions 
  • BS/BA in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or equivalent 
  • CPA preferred 
  • Experience with Big Four / 2nd tier accounting firm preferred 
  • Experience at a fast-paced, multinational services company is highly preferred 
  • Result-oriented; proactive, and possesses a high level of integrity 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently 
  • Collaboration skills to work with stakeholders across different time zones 
  • Sound knowledge of ERP systems, Netsuite, accounting, and reconciliations; 
  • Highly accountable team player

What you’ll bring:

  • 2-3 years of Digital Sales experience or Account Management experience preferred
  • Possess a strong understanding of and enthusiasm for online advertising
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and has strong organizational skills – able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while handling multiple projects simultaneously

The Media Operations Coordinator supports the Media Operations team in the day-to-day operations of Tastemade’s Linear and VOD offering. This position will coordinate the distribution of Tastemade content to O&O delivery endpoints including external vendors and platforms. This role requires an intermediate knowledge of Content Management Systems(CMS), digital content delivery workflows as well as cloud-based Master Control operations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manages internal content catalog and metadata using CMS 
  • Assist in the maintenance, growth and accuracy of the digital asset library and metadata.
  • Coordinate delivery of assets to various TMTV Linear and SVOD Platforms
  • Cloud-based Master Control operations for multiple linear streams
  • Build programming and ad schedules using MS Office and Google Suite
  • Data reporting for advertising campaigns, including revenues and cost data
  • Upload assets using various FTP, SFTP, S3 Buckets, etc 
  • Establish and maintain workflow documentation
  • Verify VOD delivery and delivery across all internal + platforms
  • Manage series artwork generation process for original + licensed content
  • Troubleshoot errors with Post Production and Amagi VOD team

What you’ll bring:

What will you be doing?

You will be creating budgets and calendars for various unscripted formats, from food, travel, competition, and docuseries to home and lifestyle.  You will be reporting to our Head of Streaming TV Production, creating budgets for all the major streamers, TV networks, as well as budgets for our original digital series. You will be working on several budgets at a time and closely with our in-house production supervisor.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Work with Head of Production and Production Management team to allocate resources and develop budgets for large series, and micro budgets for small innovative series  
  • Experience in all types of formats, from food, travel, competition, docu-series, home reno
  • Tracking expenses of existing and ongoing projects, and ensuring they come in on/under budget

  • Work with PMs & PCs to confirm all featured contributors/talent are properly released
  • Ensure risk assessments are completed on each project, which include Tastemade's latest Covid related protocols, and that health and safety are a priority on set
  • Have oversight over any overtime or meal penalty requests (they must go through you)
  • Read over all insurance policies and keep in mind throughout productions to ensure compliance
  • Ensure all Production & Post deliverables are effectively communicated to PMs and PCs
  • If there is an incident or accident on one of your productions, you will ensure that a proper incident report form has been filled out, and submitted in a timely manner through the proper channels
  • Control production schedules and keep the Head of Streaming TV Production informed as to progress and/or potential pitfalls or overspend
  • Manage a growing team of Production Supervisors, Managers and Coordinators

Administration

  • Maintain and evolve production folder structure
  • Develop R&C tracking system with Rights and Clearances Manager
  • Work with Head of Streaming TV Production on updating our internal production bible

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist Account Executives in guiding and consulting clients on when and how to leverage Tastemade’s ad product suite to maximize results based on client objectives.

The ideal candidate must have a background in content, brand and B2B marketing with a keen sense for strategy, analytics and campaign development. They will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns across the portfolio of Tastemade streaming networks (globally), Tastemade DTC platforms including Tastemade Makers & Tastemade Experiences, and support sales marketing among others. This role will report directly to the Marketing Director. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing marketing department at a fast paced media and entertainment company.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Manage the development of content, brand, and B2B marketing campaigns from planning, strategy, to campaign development & execution.
  • Provide insights on marketing campaign performance and return on investment
  • Develop and maintain data and reporting processes with the Finance Team
  • Interpret data from reporting dashboards and market research studies to understand customer behavior in order to make strategic recommendations
  • Competent with data analysis and utilizing data to drive decision-making, specifically related to marketing effectiveness
  • Lead coordination and communication for marketing projects: work with media agency and creative partners, coordinate assets, communicate cross-departmentally, and meet key project deadlines.
  • Oversee creative development for campaigns,  including asset toolkits, trailers, promos, sizzle reels, key art, social content etc., optimizing existing workflows and developing new ones. 
  • Coordinate with Publicity to book and schedule unit photographers and manage photo selects for series. 
  • Develop creative briefs, provide notes and feedback to creative teams throughout the creative development process.
  • Manage marketing budgets for each project, track costs, ensure projects stay within budget, work with finance to set up and pay third party vendors. 
  • Develop and communicate presentations and project documents to align stakeholders and executives on project plans.
  • Build post campaign reports for key projects, analyze key learnings and adapt best practices for future campaigns.
  • Work closely with our international teams to coordinate local and global campaigns.
  • Manage the day to day efforts across Tastemade’s DEI initiatives managing strategy, campaigns and cross functional coordination.
  • Support with partner marketing campaign strategy, planning and execution 
  • Support Head of Marketing with brand related initiatives including brand campaigns, and brand study 
  • Manage consumer campaigns for new platform launches, planning and execution, working with agency partner on media plans, creative and implementing campaigns.  
  • Develop a B2B marketing plan for sales initiatives, build out a yearly calendar and implement campaigns. 
  • Work on ad hoc projects with the Marketing Director as needed.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of marketing strategy, content marketing and campaign management experience at an entertainment network/studio, or media company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or relevant qualification and experience
  • Experience running marketing campaign workflows, timeline development and asset management.
  • Ability to analyze data and apply it to strategy and tactical planning.
  • Have a strong creative eye to push levels of creativity and keep campaigns on brand.
  • Excel in managing timelines, and prioritize multiple overlapping projects/requests.
  • Ability to own and take full responsibility for projects.
  • Be a self-starter, identify challenges and develop action plans.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders - at times, candidate will be main contact for executives, internal stakeholders, partners, and third-party agencies.
  • A strong passion for Food, Travel, Home & Design is a plus.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Acting as a thought leader, developing programmatic strategy and innovative solutions to position Tastemade as an industry leader.
  • Elevating Tastemade’s voice in the CTV space via the development of key, senior level relationships with top industry leaders to ensure Tastemade is considered best-in-class
  • Identifying opportunities for expanding our platform expertise, by understanding the needs of Tastemade clients and the direction of the industry.

What you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital advertising including video, CTV, OTT.
  • Established thought-leadership in the programmatic video industry.
  • Deep understanding of or experience working in the connected TV advertising ecosystem across Adtech, DSP, SSP, and Agency trading desks
  • Familiarity with Ad Operations teams including campaign performance, and traffic acquisition tactics.
  • Previous experience in managing and growing teams including but not limited to: overseeing the recruitment of new team members, playing an active role in talent retention and building personal development plans.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist Account Executives in guiding and consulting clients on when and how to leverage Tastemade’s ad product suite to maximize results based on client objectives.
  • Collaborate with Tastemade teams such as Finance and Business Operations,, Research and Insights, Account Management, Ad Ops, Content Partnerships, and Content in order to craft strategic and successful brand partnerships.
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up for client meetings.
  • Set up kick-off calls in preparation of new campaigns.
  • Establish deep relationships with national brands and media/advertising agencies.
  • Grow existing portfolio of Tastemade clients, to drive and upsell revenue Tastemade revenue.
  • Facilitate Account Executives in educating media agencies about Tastemade specific advertising and content strategies across its O&O properties and social channels.
  • Independently source and develop new brand partnerships.

What you’ll bring:

  • Requirements 1-3 years' experience working at a media agency or publisher managing a brand's digital advertising strategy and buying activities.
  • Proven track record of negotiating, structuring, and closing complex brand partnerships.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset - strong desire to work in sales and team environment.
  • Lead in the creation of proposals for incoming RFP's by creating innovative media proposals to meet advertiser needs.
