Cinnamon Roll Pancakes
You don't have to decide between these two favorite breakfast items anymore!
Supplies
Cinnamon Roll Pancakes
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Cream Cheese Glaze
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps
Cinnamon Roll Pancakes
- In a bowl whisk flour, baking powder and salt. In another bowl beat milk, oil, and egg together. Add wet ingredients into flour mixture. Whisk until batter is combined.
- In a bowl mix butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add filling into piping bag and set aside.
- Heat large skillet on medium heat and spray with nonstick spray. Scoop 1/4 cup batter onto skillet and cook for 2 minutes.
- Squeeze piping bag of the filling into a spiral pattern on pancake.
- Let it sit for 2 minutes; when bubbles begin to appear, flip with a thin spatula, and cook for another minute.
- Transfer to plate and drizzle cream cheese glaze on top.
Cream Cheese Glaze
- In a bowl add butter and cream cheese. Microwave for 30 seconds.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth and set aside.
