Cheetos Onion Rings
It seems Cheetos belong on everything these days. We've turned them into the perfect seasoning!
- 4 packs Cheetos
- 2 large white onions
- 4 rashers streaky bacon
- 2 eggs
- 4 mozzarella slices
- 2 litres vegetable oil
- Cocktail sticks
- Blitz the Cheetos in a food processor, or place into a plastic bag and smash up into breadcrumb consistency.
- Peel the onion and slice across into large rings. Take two rings where one is larger than the other and lay on a chopping board. Take slices of mozzarella and cut into strips the same diameter as the onion rings and stuff the cheese in between two rings.
- Split the rings in half. With one half, dip in Cheetos, followed by egg, then more Cheetos. Wrap the other half in streaky bacon.
- Fry the onion rings in oil at 180C for 2-3 minutes or until golden.
