Greek Frappe

Though not a drink of antiquity, The Greeks have been sipping on this refreshing boost of caffeine for years ... and for good reason, it's delicious!

Supplies

  • 1.5 tablespoons Nescafe classic instant coffee
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or more to your taste
  • Water
  • Ice
  • Evaporated milk or cream (optional)

Steps

  1. Add coffee to a shaker or cup.
  2. Now add sugar and enough water to cover both.
  3. Shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds, the drink will become airy and foamy.
  4. Pour into a tall glass.
  5. Add ice cubes to the glass.
  6. Add a bit more water into the shaker and shake to get out the rest of the coffee. Pour into your glass.
  7. Optionally, fill up the rest of the glass with milk or cream.
  8. Serve immediately.
