  • Jamu:
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • Thumb size piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon manuka honey
  • 1 teaspoon palm sugar
  • 1 ripe mango
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
  • Some water to loosen
  • Optional Ingredients: galangal, lemongrass, coconut water
  • Lassi:
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • A dash of ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons greek yoghurt
  • A pinch of salt and black pepper
  • Handful pomegranate seeds
  • Ice water
  • Optional Ingredients: tabasco sauce, lemon juice, celery

Steps

  1. To prepare the Jamu smoothie chop the mango, the
  2. Ginger and the galangal. Add them the juice mixer jar,
  3. Together with the honey, tamarind, palm sugar, turmeric
  4. And water/coconut water. Blend it all together. Serve in a
  5. Glass. You can use a stick of lemongrass to stir.
  6. For the Lassi, add Tabasco, pomegranate seeds, cumin,
  7. Paprika, pepper, yoghurt, 1 stick of celery and some water
  8. To a blender/food processor. Blend it all together. Serve
  9. In a glass. You can squeeze in a lemon for an added kick
  10. And use a stick of celery to stir.
