Supplies
- Jamu:
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- Thumb size piece of fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon manuka honey
- 1 teaspoon palm sugar
- 1 ripe mango
- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
- Some water to loosen
- Optional Ingredients: galangal, lemongrass, coconut water
- Lassi:
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- A dash of ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons greek yoghurt
- A pinch of salt and black pepper
- Handful pomegranate seeds
- Ice water
- Optional Ingredients: tabasco sauce, lemon juice, celery
Steps
- To prepare the Jamu smoothie chop the mango, the
- Ginger and the galangal. Add them the juice mixer jar,
- Together with the honey, tamarind, palm sugar, turmeric
- And water/coconut water. Blend it all together. Serve in a
- Glass. You can use a stick of lemongrass to stir.
- For the Lassi, add Tabasco, pomegranate seeds, cumin,
- Paprika, pepper, yoghurt, 1 stick of celery and some water
- To a blender/food processor. Blend it all together. Serve
- In a glass. You can squeeze in a lemon for an added kick
- And use a stick of celery to stir.
