Ingredients

Crème Brûlée

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup of sugar

For The Top

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar

Steps

Crème Brûlée

  1. Heat the milk with the heavy cream and the vanilla in a saucepan without boiling.
  2. Mix the yolks with the sugar until they become pale. Add the previous mixture while it’s still warm. Strain.
  3. Distribute the mixture into ceramic moulds or thermal glass.
  4. Bake at 105ºC for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven.
  6. Let them cool in the fridge.

For The Top

  1. Serve with a mixture of the sugars on top and burn with a blowtorch until the sugar melts. Serve immediately.
