• 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • Slices of bacon


  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a hole in the middle and add egg, milk and melted butter.
  2. Beat until obtaining a smooth batter.
  3. Heat a nonstick frying pan and fry the bacon on both sides until golden.
  4. Over each slice, pour a bit of the batter on top.
  5. When small holes start forming in the batter, turn with a spatula. Cook on the other side until golden and serve.
