• Makes 4
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 150 grams self raising flour
  • 1 egg
  • 150 milliliters milk


  1. Fry the bacon in the oil until cooked through and golden, turning half way through. Leaving space between each slice, pour over some batter and allow to fully cover the bacon.
  2. Leave to cook for a couple of minutes, then flip and cook on the other side. Serve with maple syrup.
