- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- Slices of bacon
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a hole in the middle and add egg, milk and melted butter.
- Beat until obtaining a smooth batter.
- Heat a nonstick frying pan and fry the bacon on both sides until golden.
- Over each slice, pour a bit of the batter on top.
- When small holes start forming in the batter, turn with a spatula. Cook on the other side until golden and serve.
