How to make Barbecue Spare Ribs in Hoisin Sauce & Mustard
Supplies
- 1/2 shallot diced
- 4 teaspoons English mustard
- 4 teaspoons soy sauce
- 6 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon chilli sauce
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 800 grams pork spare ribs
- 1 spring onion
Steps
- Combine all ingredients together to make a marinade then rub onto the spare ribs. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oven to 200C and roast for 45 minutes. This can also be grilled on a BBQ, in which case times will vary. Check juices run clear and meat is cooked all the way through.
- This marinade can also be used for chicken wings, drumsticks, thighs and pork chops.
