This peanut butter and chocolate tart is the perfect dessert to impress!

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Tart

Ingredients

  • Pastry:

  • 200 grams plain flour

  • 100 grams butter

  • 50 grams (1) egg

  • Pinch salt

  • Filling:

  • Peanut butter

  • 250 grams dark chocolate

  • 250 milliliters double cream

  • Topping:

  • 250 grams caster sugar

  • Peanuts

Instructions

  1. Make pastry and chill

  2. Line tin and blind bake

  3. Heat up peanut butter to a runny consistency

  4. Pour into tart base and set in fridge

  5. Heat up cream and pour over chocolate to melt and pour over peanut butter

  6. Create swirls in the chocolate with left over peanut butter

  7. Cool in the fridge

  8. Roast peanuts and roughly crush them

  9. Caramelise sugar and pour onto non-stick mat and sprinkle nuts over and leave to set

  10. Decorate tart
