Supplies

  • 200g milk chocolate
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 130g unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 100g Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Black Forest Style Nut, Fruit and Chocolate Mix
  • 6x Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Cinnamon Bun Inspired Cookies
  • 50g marshmallows
  • 150g white chocolate
  • Sprinkles, to decorate

Steps

  1. Line a square 9” cake tin with greaseproof paper.
  2. Break the milk and dark chocolate into small, even-sized pieces and place them in a large heatproof bowl.
  3. Pop a medium pan, half filled with water on medium heat, and place the bowl on top being careful that the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water.
  4. Cut the butter into cubes and add to the bowl along with the golden syrup. Gently melt, and occasionally stir, until you have a silky chocolate mixture.
  5. Remove from the heat. Leave to one side for 2 minutes then stir in the Taste the Difference Black Forest Style Nut, Fruit and Chocolate Mix.
  6. Break in the Taste the Difference Cinnamon Bun Inspired Cookies, and stir in with the marshmallows.
  7. Spoon into the lined baking tin, and gently press into the paper, so it is evenly distributed.
  8. Leave in the fridge for an hour or two to set.
  9. When the rock road is ready, break the white chocolate into small even sized pieces and melt over a pan of simmering water. Alternatively, melt in a microwave if you have one.
  10. Drizzle over the set rocky road, and finish with sprinkles.
  11. Leave to set in the fridge again, then turn out onto a board and chop into 16 pieces.
