• 100ml Irish cream
  • 200ml whole milk
  • 100ml double cream
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tbsp salted caramel sauce
  • 100g milk chocolate
  • 1 water balloon
  • Neutral oil, for greasing
  • Squirty cream


  1. To make the chocolate dome, blow up a water balloon. Paint with oil to grease. Melt the chocolate and dip the balloon into the chocolate, turn upside down and place in a tall glass to form the dome. Set in the fridge. When ready to use, flip the chocolate dome over and pop the balloon, peeling out any that remains in the bottom. Trim any frilly edges and pop back into the fridge until you need it.
  2. Whizz together all the ingredients for the milkshake in a blender.
  3. Pour the milkshake into a chilled tall glass, top with whipped cream and place the chocolate dome on top. Crack before drinking.
