- 440g pizza dough
- 3-4 jalapeños
- 6 bacon rashers
- 120g grated mozzarella
- ¾ cup cream cheese
- 1 medium egg, beaten
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 190c. Lightly butter a 20cm round baking dish or cast iron skillet.
- Cook the bacon rashers in a frying pan, or under the grill until golden and crisp. Set aside to cool slightly, then chop into small pieces.
- De-seed the jalapenos then chop finely.
- Lightly flour your work surface then divide your pizza dough into 12 equal sized balls. Roll out each ball into a circle until approx 3mm thick.
- Divide the jalapenos, bacon and cheese into 12 equal portions and place in the middle of each circle.
- Wrap the dough around the filling, ensuring there are no gaps, then repeat with the remaining balls.
- Place, seam side down, in the prepared baking dish, brush with the beaten egg, and bake for 15-20 minutes.
