Layered Loaf

Three courses in a single loaf. Sweet, savoury, it's got it all!

Supplies

  • 1 large farmhouse loaf
  • 4 slices of good quality ham
  • 6 Slices gruyere
  • 100 grams cheddar, grated
  • Mustard for spreading
  • 125 grams ball of mozzarella
  • 4 juicy plum tomatoes
  • Handful of basil leaves
  • 3-4 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter
  • 4-6 rashers streaky bacon
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 4 tablespoons fluff
  • 4 tablespoons apricot jam

Steps

  1. The loaf is filled with the four different sandwich fillings, going from savoury to sweet for everyone's needs.
  2. Hasselback the loaf so it is not cut all the way through, and start layering up your loaf. Prep cook the bacon is its crisp and then you are ready to go.

  5. Preheat the oven to 200. Wrap loosely in tin foil and place in a hot oven for 12 minutes at 200. Remove and let everyone tear into whatever they fancy.
