  • 4 quail
  • 100g gari
  • 2 tsp chicken seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 100g plain flour
  • 3 eggs beaten

Steps

  1. Season quail with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix gari with all the seasonings, taste to make sure its not too salty.
  3. Dip quail in beaten eggs then gari crumb coat generously, leave to sit for a 5-10mins while oil heats up.
  4. Deep fry for 8-10 mins at 160C, probe after 8 mins to check meat it cooked through if not leave for 4-5 mins.
