Pizzas - Ready Meal Hacks
Your shop bought pizza just got a mega makeover!
Supplies
- Tarte Flambee:
- 1 store bought margherita
- pizza
- 8 tbsp full-fat crème fraîche
- 100g Comté, grated
- 160g smoked bacon lardons
- 1 red onion, finely sliced
- Pissaladiere:
- 1 store bought margherita
- pizza
- 1 jar shop bought
- caramelised onions
- anchovy fillets
- black olives
- fresh thyme, leaves picked
- Mexican:
- 1 store bought margherita
- pizza
- 1 x 400g tin black beans,
- drained
- Jalapeños
- 75g cheddar/mozzarella
- mix
- 2 x spring onions, sliced
- Jar salsa
- Sour cream
- Coriander
- Blue Cheese, Caramelised
- Onions, Pear:
- 1 store bought margherita
- pizza
- 1 x jar Caramelised Onions
- 75g block blue cheese
- 2 rosemary stalks, leaves
- removed
- 1 pear, v. thinly sliced -
- lengthways
- rocket
- 25g roasted hazelnuts
- black pepper
Steps
- STEP 1
- Tarte Flambee: Scrape the cheese from the pizza into
- a bowl. Add the creme fraiche and comte to the pizza
- cheese and spread on top of the pizza base, then top
- with the red onion and lardons.
- STEP 2
- Bake in a pre-heated oven for 7 - 10 minutes or until
- the cheese has melted and the lardons are cooked.
- STEP 3
- Pissaladiere: Scrape the cheese from the pizza into a
- bowl. Add the caramelised onions to the pizza cheese
- and mix together, then spread on top of the pizza
- base. Lay the anchovies in a cross hatch pattern
- across the base and stud each diamond with a black
- olive. Finally sprinkle over some fresh thyme leaves
- and then bake in a pre-heated oven for 7 - 10 minutes
- or until cooked. To serve, sprinkle over some more
- fresh thyme leaves.
- STEP 4
- Mexican: Scrape the cheese from the pizza into a bowl.
- Add the black beans and the cheddar/mozzarella mix
- to the pizza cheese and mix, squishing the black beans
- until they burst. Add half of the spring onions to the
- bowl and spread over the pizza base then lay some
- jalapenos on top. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 7 - 10
- mins or until the cheese is golden and bubbling. Top
- immediately with salsa, sour cream, and coriander.
- STEP 5
- Blue Cheese Pizza: Scrape the cheese from the pizza
- into a bowl. Add the caramelised onions and half of
- the blue cheese to the pizza cheese, along with the
- rosemary leaves and mix together. Spread on top of
- the pizza base and bake in a pre-heated oven for 7 - 10
- mins or until the cheese is melted and the pizza is
- cooked. To serve, top with the spiced pear, some
- rocket leaves, toasted hazelnuts and a grind of black
- pepper.
