- Post-Workout Re-Hydrator
- 500ml of fresh filtered water
- 200g fresh watermelon
- Small bunch of fresh mint leaves
- Juice of two limes
- Post-Workout Porridge Gains
- 50g jumbo oats
- Half sliced ripe banana
- 1 scoop of vegan protein powder
- 300ml almond milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp of almond butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- Optional toppings: fresh raspberries, toasted coconut, chopped almonds
Steps
- Post-Workout Re-Hydrator
- Blend all the ingredients in a Nutribullet (or similar).
- Post-Workout Porridge Gains
- Serve in a tall glass over lots of ice and a final sprig of mint, and a stainless steel straw.
- Combine the oats, almond milk,, cinnamon, vanilla in a pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir through the protein powder.
- Remove from the heat and pour into a bowl.
- Serve with sliced banana, almond butter and maple syrup and the optional toppings.
