Chicken Bake Open Sandwich

  • 1 Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference Chicken, Potato & Butternut Bake
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • Mayonnaise
  • 50 g of grated mozzarella
  • 1 handful of rocket

Chicken Kyiv Flatbreads

  • 1 Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference Chicken Kyiv Bake
  • 100 g plain flour
  • 70 g fat-free Greek yoghurt
  • Pinch of salt
  • To serve (optional): Rocket
  • Parsley
  • Pomegranate
  • Red Onion

Cheddar & Apple Quesadillas with Honey & Mustard Dressing

  • 4 large corn tortilla wraps
  • 1x 150g Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference Mature Cheddar Bake with Garlic, Herb and Black Pepper
  • 50 g of grated cheddar
  • 1 apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • A few fresh thyme springs, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp of honey

Dressing

  • 1 tsp of wholegrain mustard
  • 2 tsp of honey
  • 2 tsp of olive oil
  • 1 tsp of sherry vinegar
  • Rocket to garnish

Steps

Chicken Bake Open Sandwich

  1. Place the Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference Chicken, Potato & Butternut Bake into the oven and cook according to the packet's instructions.
  2. Once out of the oven, leave to rest.
  3. Take the sourdough and lightly toast in a toaster. Spread the mayonnaise on one side; amount to your liking.
  4. Divide the bake over the two slices of sourdough, sprinkle over the mozzarella and place under a hot grill until melted.
  5. Top with the rocket or salad leaves of choice and enjoy.

Chicken Kyiv Flatbreads

  1. Preheat the oven to 180° and cook the Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference Chicken Kyiv Bake per the packet instructions.
  2. While the bake is in the oven place the flour, yoghurt and salt into a large bowl and mix well till it all comes together to form a dough. Cover with cling film and leave to rest while the bake finishes cooking.
  3. After 15 minutes in the oven, remove the film from the bake, place the sliced potatoes on a separate baking tray, and return both to the oven.
  4. Once the bake and potatoes have had their final 15 minutes remove them from the oven and rest.
  5. While resting, divide the dough into 2 individual dough balls, lightly flour your worktop and roll out.
  6. Place a non-stick frying pan over medium to high heat and cook your flatbread wraps for a couple of minutes on each side. When you get nice golden brown spots on the bread it’s time to flip over.
  7. Now, it's time to build your flatbread! Add some salad leaves to your flatbreads then divide the Kyiv between the 2.
  8. For the potatoes, I like to add these to the flatbread for an extra crunch with a good helping of salt! You can also keep these as a side dish.
  9. To finish add any extra toppings of choice such as pickled onions, pomegranates and herbs. Enjoy!

Cheddar & Apple Quesadillas with Honey & Mustard Dressing

  1. Take 2 of the wraps and spread the cold Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference Mature Cheddar Bake with Garlic, Herb and Black over each one.
  2. Top with the grated cheddar, sprinkle over the thyme, add the apples (save some for garnish) then pour over the honey. Place the remaining wraps over, encasing the cheese filling in the middle.
  3. Get a non-stick frying pan over medium to high heat and dry fry each wrap for 2 minutes on each side or till golden.
  4. Once done, cut each wrap into 4 slices and serve with the dressing and garnish with rocket and remaining apple slices.

Dressing

  1. Take all the dressing ingredients and mixing together with a pinch of salt, then leave to one side.
