Chocolate Martini

  • 70ml hot chocolate, chilled
  • 70ml Smirnoff No 21
  • 50ml single cream
  • 2 teaspoons chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder, sifted
  • Edible gold powder
  • Sugar syrup

For the Vodka Infused Cream

  • 100ml double cream
  • 15ml Smirnoff No 21
  • ½ tablespoon caster sugar

Steps

Chocolate Martini

  1. For the garnish, combine the sugar, cocoa powder and gold powder. Coat the rim of each glass in sugar syrup and dip into the cocoa sugar.
  2. To make the cocktail, place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker or mason jar along with some ice and shake well.
  3. Pour between your Martini glasses and top with a spoon of the vodka whipped cream. Sprinkle over a little more cocoa sugar and serve.

For the Vodka Infused Cream

  1. Chill an empty whisking bowl for 10 minutes in the fridge.
  2. Once chilled combine the cream, Smirnoff No 21 and caster sugar together in the bowl and whisk until soft peaks form. Set aside in the fridge until your cocktail is ready.
