Toffee Vodka Caramel Sauce

  • 4 x Hard boiled butterscotch sweets (werther's originals)
  • 100 milliliters Smirnoff 21 Vodka

Apple Hot Toddy

  • 400ml Apple Juice
  • 100ml Water
  • 30 ml Honey Syrup, a equal mix of honey and hot water
  • 20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Large pinch Cayenne Pepper
  • Large pinch Ground Cinnamon
  • Cinnamon Stick for garnish
  • Slice of apple for garnish

Steps

Toffee Vodka Caramel Sauce

  1. In a large saucepan, add your butterscotch sweets and a splash of water and gently melt over a low heat until completely dissolved. Pour in the vodka and stir through until combined. Set aside.

Apple Hot Toddy

  1. In a pan add the apple juice, water, honey syrup, cayenne pepper and ground cinnamon. And bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Cook for 2 mins
  2. In a mug add the toffee vodka, fresh lemon juice and hot apple
  3. Gently toast a cinnamon stick over a pan until nice and charred, and then swirl through your hot toddy before serving. Enjoy!
