Toffee Vodka Caramel Sauce
- 4 x Hard boiled butterscotch sweets (werther's originals)
- 100 milliliters Smirnoff 21 Vodka
Apple Hot Toddy
- 400ml Apple Juice
- 100ml Water
- 30 ml Honey Syrup, a equal mix of honey and hot water
- 20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
- Large pinch Cayenne Pepper
- Large pinch Ground Cinnamon
- Cinnamon Stick for garnish
- Slice of apple for garnish
Steps
Toffee Vodka Caramel Sauce
- In a large saucepan, add your butterscotch sweets and a splash of water and gently melt over a low heat until completely dissolved. Pour in the vodka and stir through until combined. Set aside.
Apple Hot Toddy
- In a pan add the apple juice, water, honey syrup, cayenne pepper and ground cinnamon. And bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Cook for 2 mins
- In a mug add the toffee vodka, fresh lemon juice and hot apple
- Gently toast a cinnamon stick over a pan until nice and charred, and then swirl through your hot toddy before serving. Enjoy!
