Snowflake Pancakes

The only way to eat your pancakes this winter

Supplies

  • Makes 6
  • 150 grams plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 milliliters milk
  • Icing sugar to dust

Steps

  1. Make the batter by putting the flour in a bowl, make a well in the centre then crack in the eggs. Using a whisk, slowly blend in the milk, adding in batches, so the batter is smooth with no lumps. Transfer 1/3 of the mix into a squeezy bottle with a fine nozzle.
  2. Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and using the bottle, squeeze a snowflake pattern into the pan. Pour over enough batter to cover the gaps in your design. Continue to cook until bubbling and set at the edges. Carefully flip and continue to cook for a further 1-2 minutes on the other side.
  3. Serve snowflake design up and dusted with icing sugar.
