• 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 filet mignon
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Nutmeg


  1. Season the meat with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat a frying pan with olive oil and sear the meat for 3 minutes each side, cover when turning the meat. Set to one side. (Tip: Let the meat rest for 3 minutes before serving for the juices to settle.)
  3. In the same frying pan, add the orange juice, honey and nutmeg. Allow to thicken, pour the sauce on the meat and serve with fried cassava.
