- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 filet mignon
- Black pepper
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tbsp honey
- Season the meat with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a frying pan with olive oil and sear the meat for 3 minutes each side, cover when turning the meat. Set to one side. (Tip: Let the meat rest for 3 minutes before serving for the juices to settle.)
- In the same frying pan, add the orange juice, honey and nutmeg. Allow to thicken, pour the sauce on the meat and serve with fried cassava.
