Supplies

  • Overnight Oats:
  • 1 almost empty jar of peanut
  • butter
  • 50g oats
  • 1 banana, roughly mashed
  • 150ml almond milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup/honey
  • Greek yoghurt
  • Satay Dressing:
  • 1 almost empty jar of peanut
  • butter
  • 4 tbsp coconut milk
  • juice 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 50ml sesame oil
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Peanut Butter Hot
  • Chocolate:
  • 1 almost empty jar of
  • peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • Whole milk
  • Crushed salted peanuts
  • Marshmallows
  • Whipped cream
  • Grated chocolate

Steps

  1. Overnight Oats: Place all the ingredients into a nearly empty peanut butter jar and stir, scraping some of the peanut butter down from the sides of the jar. Place the lid back on the jar and give everything a good shake then place in the fridge to soak overnight. In the morning top the oats with a dollop of greek yoghurt and a sprinkle of salted peanuts.
  2. Satay Dressing: Add the ingredients to the peanut butter jar and shake vigorously to emulsify, scraping down the sides of the jar if necessary. Serve over a crunchy salad.
  3. Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate: Fill the jar of peanut butter with milk so that it comes up to about 2 cm below the top. Add the cocoa powder and maple syrup and shake the jar vigorously for about 45 secs or until the peanut butter starts to come away from the sides of the jar. Microwave without the lid on for 2-3 minutes until hot.
  4. Serve topped with whipped cream, crushed peanuts,
  5. marshmallows and grated chocolate.
